Below are links and brief descriptions of each lesson learned in class. If you are absent, you can always access these pages from any computer or device connected to the internet. 1. Introduction
Objective: Students will understand classroom rules and expectations as well as the daily routine and procedures. A pre-assessment will be given and compared to the final exam on the last week of school to determine student growth through the block.
2. Digital Literacy
Objective: Students will understand how to use different forms of digital technology and how societies that lack digital technology may be at a disadvantage.
3. Digital Health and Wellness
Objective: Students will understand how overuse or inappropriate use of technology can lead to health issues, and how to create an ergonomic workspace when using digital technology
4. Digital Security
Objectives: Students will understand how digital technology is at risk from cyber attacks and different ways teens can keep their digital technology and private information safe.
5. Digital Commerce
Objectives: Students will understand how to differentiate between websites that are legitimate and websites that cannot be trusted and ways to find out whether a website is safe.
6. Cyberbullying
Objective: Students will understand what constitutes cyberbullying and ways that teens can de-escalate a situation.
