Pixlr Introduction
Objective: Students will demonstrate application of the Pixlr interface by identifying each part of the interface
Project #1 - Personal Paradise
Objective: Students will show synthesis of layer manipulation and layer styles by creating a paradise using photo adjustments and layer dragging.
Project #2 - Me and Myself
Objective: Students will show synthesis of selection and hue adjustment tools by creating an image in which a student is interacting in some way with himself/herself.
Project #3 - Digital Coloring
Objective: Students will show synthesis of brush, gradient, and paint bucket tools by creating a non-objective drawing by hand, and coloring it in Pixlr.
Project #4 - South Park Yourself
Objective: Students will show synthesis of drawing tools, and duplicating and transforming layers by creating a self portrait as a South Park character using simple shapes.
Project #5 - Powerful Text
Objective: Students will show synthesis of text tool and overlay by overlaying images that symbolize a strong or powerful word.
Project #6 - Tinkercad
Objective: Students will understand how to create 3D models by using Tinkercad
